Got this one this morning during the total lunar eclipse. I found out about the event midday yesterday, and decided to check it out. I thought about doing a series of the entire eclipse put together into one image, but that would have taken about two hours from 5-7 this morning. I didn't have that kind of motivation since the temps were in the teens and the wind was HOWLIN'. So i winged it, found this composition and came up with this shot. It was a pretty majestic moonset/sunrise.
The colors are beautiful!
