Goin' with the flow: San Juan River

This summer I am working as a river guide for Holiday Expeditions in Utah.  We run single and multi-day trips on a bunch of sections of different rivers throughout the state.  You can check out their website at: http://www.bikeraft.com/    Here's a few shots from the San Juan River in Southeastern Utah.  Though it's not known for it's whitewater, this section of river contains some amazing petroglyph panels and ruins.

River House at night.  An Anasazi ruin built in the mid 1200's.

Spiral petro at night.  River House
Typical Basketmaker figure.   Butler Wash
Sun Spiral.  Butler Wash
Bighorn Sheep petro.   Butler Wash

I've been slacking on the blogging lately with how busy I've been.  I'll be posting more as I have time.  PEACE
