Goin' with the flow: San Juan River

This summer I am working as a river guide for Holiday Expeditions in Utah.  We run single and multi-day trips on a bunch of sections of different rivers throughout the state.  You can check out their website at: http://www.bikeraft.com/    Here's a few shots from the San Juan River in Southeastern Utah.  Though it's not known for it's whitewater, this section of river contains some amazing petroglyph panels and ruins.

Season's End

Done with my job, and done skiing for the season.  It was a wet and wild smashing good time--over 650 inches of snow while i was there, and I got over 100 days of skiing in.   Good stuff, but I'm in need of some vitamin D.  Here's a couple shots from my last few days there.

Change-Up

Had to do something different today.  I took a day off from Snowbird for the first time in about two months, and hopped in the Soob for  a little road trip to check out the Great Salt Lake and Bonneville Salt Flats.  Here are my two favorites from the day.   

Salt flats were a trip.  Totally flat, martian landscape. 

Caught the sunset over the salt lake on the way home.  

Back to the slopes manana.  Peace!
