Change-Up

Had to do something different today.  I took a day off from Snowbird for the first time in about two months, and hopped in the Soob for  a little road trip to check out the Great Salt Lake and Bonneville Salt Flats.  Here are my two favorites from the day.   

Salt flats were a trip.  Totally flat, martian landscape. 

Caught the sunset over the salt lake on the way home.  

Back to the slopes manana.  Peace!

Powder's gone...time to get high.

40 feet and counting...

Whattayaknow?  It snowed a little more here.  This storm system dropped another 3 feet in Little Cottonwood Canyon--the snowiest place on earth.  Don't quote me on that, but it sure feels like it, as Snowbird has now received 40 feet of the white stuff so far.  The clouds parted today, revealing a friggityfresh coating of frosting on the hill.  Grab a spork, and dig in.
